Pagerank

Pagerank , its  a term by which google define how important is the page while searching something. Pagerank is very much working on basis of Hyperlink and Hypertext. PageRank was developed by Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin at Stanford.

Pagerank measurement depends on how many hyperlinks are there on a page , all hyperlinks are treated as Vote by searchbot and due to that it defines how important is the page for visitor. This is very usefull for those visitors who are in seek of core knowledge about the thing which they are searching so more Hyperlink on a page leads them to more knowledge this is what search engine traced on pages of website and give them better page rank.

There is one more important thing here is Pagerank also works on basis of what kind of hyperlinks are there on page. For an example :- My website is a review website and hyperlink text are linking to yahoo or a better page rank site with good source of knowledge. Same time if my review is hyperlink by a better Pagerank site then in future my site too can get better page rank.

Pagerank never matters with traffic this is important thing webmaster have to remember while working for pagerank on there website. Importance of pagerank is this if your website is SEO friendly and same time have better hyperlink then there is 80% chance search results have your website pages on first page of google search.

Then this question come in brain how to raise page rank ? i will suggest dont ever try to Link a site which have bad pagerank then your own or never try to link a linkfarm. If you want to get better pagerank its good to submit your website in directories like Dmoz or better pagerank directories. Pagerank not get effected if someone having bad pagerank links to you.
